Accommodation for Dalbeattie
The town of Dalbeattie was founded in 1793 as a mill town, a port and a granite quarrying centre. Dalbeattie has still got its Craignair Hill quarry, but now makes most of its income from tourism and service industries. Visitors to Dumfries and Galloway (south west Scotland) are invited to try Dalbeattie for themselves. It looks beautiful in any kind of weather and you will always find a warm welcome.
There is plenty of hotel accommodation in Dalbeattie that are accustomed to looking after 7 Stanes mountain biking visitors or those with other outdoor interests. Many accommodation providers offer facilities for storing bikes and drying clothes!
Dalbeattie also has some fantastic self catering accommodation, village inns and B&B’s some of which we happily recommend and are featured below.
