Airie Farmhouse holiday cottage, a detached farmhouse is situated in a lovely area full of wildlife and bird life including red kites, and with extensive uninterrupted views. It is reached by a good hard track of about 2 miles and is located between Loch Stroan and Loch Skerrow for which permits are not required by holidaymakers staying at Airie Farm. It is also a short distance from Loch Ken where prescribed fishing rights are also available to Airie guests.
Local amenities include: Galloway Forest Park affording 300 square miles of world class 7stanes Mountain Biking, Walking, Riding and Trekking; Galloway Sailing Centre and Water Sports Marina, both of which are on Loch Ken; several challenging Golf Courses, including New Galloway Golf Club. Troon and Turnberry are just an hours" drive away.
Direct pedestrian or cycle access to the Galloway Forest Park is available making the decision to leave the car an easy one.
