Description

Barnsoul is a working farm of nearly 300 acres of wooded parkland abounding in wildlife - fox, deer, red squirrels and even the occasional otter.

We specialise in offering a range of low-cost accommodation including our Scandanavian Mountain Wigwams and Bothies. The Wigwams feature bunks for 4-6 people, are heated and supplied with basic furniture, mattress and pillows, including kettle, toaster and sandwich-maker.The Shieling Bothies feature a mattress on raised floor for 4 people, heated and supplied with kettle, toaster and sandwich-maker.

They also feature an exterior patio with bench table and stone barbecue and full use of the site kitchen and showers. All the benefits of camping, but without a tent! Both are available for hire by the night, the weekend or weekly. Tarriffs: Up to 4 in wigwam - £28pn. 5th, 6th person - + £10pp.

Other Park facilities:

• Secure lockable storage for bikes and equipment.
• Bike & kit wash facilities with drying room.
• Pitches for tents, motor homes or touring caravans on grass, hard standing - level and sloping areas.
• Chalets and static caravans for hire by the week and weekend.
• Water, electric hook-ups, chemical toilet disposal points.
• Shower block with individual cubicles including shower & vanity unit.
• Kitchen with hot water, cooking facilities and laundry.
• On site barbecues.

Our Chalets, Sheiling and Wigwam Bothies are situated in front of the "Big Wood". They overlook the Mill Pond enjoying superb views across the Old Water Valley.
