Description
Birchlea Lodge lies on the outskirts of the popular coastal village of Kippford, Dumfries & Galloway, overlooking an attractive small lochan with lily pads and dragonflies.

Birchlea Lodge is in a peaceful landscaped site but is perfectly situated for discovering why southern Scotland is the ‘best place in the world to ride’.

The renowned 7stanes mountain biking in Dalbeattie Forest is only 10 mins way, with Mabie Forest offering further challenges nearby. If gentle cycling or walking is more your thing, there is plenty of choice, including forest trails easily accessible from the lodge.

Privately owned, Birchlea supplies comfortable accommodation for 6 and is well-equipped for self-catering, or there are 2 seafront pubs with outside seating only 10-15 minutes stroll down the hill.
