Clachanbuth Cottage is a delightful self-catering holiday accommodation for 2 or 3, in the quiet forestry village of Glentrool ideal for both Glentrool 7stanes and Kirroughtree 7stanes trails in Dumfries & Galloway, comprising 2 bedrooms, sitting room, sun lounge, dining kitchen, bathroom, with hillside garden.

The cottage has just recently been converted from the village shop hence its name Clachanbuth .. gaelic for village shop! It now provides ideal holiday accommodation for couples or small families who are looking for a peaceful holiday for either relaxation or outdoor activities in wonderful, natural, scenic surroundings.

On the doorstep is the beautiful Galloway Forest Park home of 3 of the 5 Galloway 7stanes mountain bike trails. From April to October the Glentrool Visitor Centre  offers welcome refreshments at the Glentrool 7stanes trailhead. For refreshments in the evening the local House o' Hill inn is onlya mile down the road and offers a range of bar meals, good beer, good company and at certain time of the year, live music.  The market town of Newton Stewart for other entertainment options and supplies is 10 miles from Clachanbuth Cottage.

Clachanbuth is new to the holiday letting market, having been just recently converted. It has been furnished and decorated to a high standard to provide very comfortable holiday accommodation for 2 or 3 people:
