Description

The Craighlaw Arms is a small family owned village inn. Situated in Kirkcowan, only seven miles from the town of Newton Stewart, in the heart of the Galloway countryside and only a short distance from both Kirroughtree and Glentrool 7stanes mountain bike trails.

The Craighlaw Arms is a charming 200 year old coaching inn retaining many original features. We have three very comfortable en suite letting rooms and are mountain biker friendly offering free, secure bike and equipment storage.

We have a warm and cosy public bar with a wood burning stove and a lounge/dining area where meals are served in addition to a games room with pool table and dart board. The friendly locals will charm you with their tales and share with you their local knowledge, such as the best places to visit and the things you simply must see before you leave!

The Craighlaw Arms is a fully licensed inn providing a selection of alcoholic and soft drinks. Bar meals and snacks are served throughout the day and evening meals are served until 9pm. Our menu is varied and we also provide a gluten free and vegetarian option.

We offer great hospitality and good service!
