Craiguart B&B is situated in the heart of the beautiful Tweed valley 1 1/2 miles from Peebles.
Craiguart B&B offer 2 twin rooms and a family size room with en-suite shower rooms, LCD TV/DVD, tea/coffee making facilities and patio doors giving access to the rear garden and decked patio area. There are tables to sit out and enjoy the peace and stunning views of the tweed valley. A gas BBQ is also available there for guests to use.
There is a guest Lounge area with Sky TV, DVD & Video.
Alasdair and Pauline provide a varied breakfast menu, using the best local produce and some of Scotland's favourite dishes. Early breakfast times are not a problem. Guests arriving during the day will be greeted with either morning coffee and homemade shortbread or afternoon tea with homemade scones and jam. Packed lunches and evening meals are also available on request. Late arrival and supper times can be catered for.
The unspoilt and spectacular countryside around Peebles is an ideal location for cycling, fishing, walking, sightseeing or just relaxing. Glentress was voted best UK mountain biking centre in 2004 by Single-track magazine, attracting more than 1,000 bikers a week and is currently building a big new visitor centre.
At Innerleithen is Traquair forest. This is where the famous Downhill site is based alongside the black graded 7stanes cross-country route. It is also possible to ride the 1/2 mile from Craiguart to Glentress ‘off-road'.
We have secure lockup storage within the garage, with power washing and drying facilities for bikes and clothes.
