At Friars Carse, our self-catering cottages are two mintues walk from the hotel itself and all our guests can make full use of the facilities at the hotel.
The Whistle Restaurant, which takes its name from a Burns poem, serves excellent local cuisne and has extensive wine list.
We have a comfortable lounge and bar where you can enjoy a 'wee dram' and our friendly staff will look after you.
'Dun Mhor' cottage has a fully equipped kitchen / diner including: -

- Fridge / Freezer
- Washing Machine
A comfortably furnished lounge has a sofa bed and TV / DVD.
The two well- furnished bedrooms, which can either be used as twin or double rooms, both have en suite facilities. One has an en suite shower room and the other a bathroom.
Bedding and towels are provided.
There is a patio to the front of the property with views over open countryside and a secluded patio at the rear with woodland views.
The cottage has central heating throughout, double glazing and adjacent parking. There are shared gardens to the front and rear.
Well behaved pets are welcome by prior arrangment. Cot and highchairs facilities are also available on request.
