Events

Such is the growing popularity of mountain biking in southern Scotland that a number of organisations have been formed to come up with new and innovative mountain biking based events, using the 7 Stanes mountain biking trails as venues for an expanding list of exciting events throughout the year. Events such as the Dalbeattie Hard Rock Challenge held on the 7 stane trails at Dalbeattie now attracts hundreds of competitors and thousands of spectators too! New events such as ' 10 at Kirroughtree ' and the 7-24 Race will further enhance the 7 stanes and southern Scotland as the place for endurance and adventure mountain biking events.

In this section we will keep you informed with the latest news of these events and will no doubt, be adding to the ever growing list in the coming months. However if you think we have missed an event, tell us using our contact form and we will make sure it gets on the list.
