Description
Whilst you are in the area visiting the 7stanes mountain bike trails, come and spend few days at Farhills Farm Bed & Breakfast in a beautiful traditional stone built Galloway farmhouse.

Surrounded by open green fields and forest, this working farm is an ideal location to experience the thrills and stunning locations of some of the world's best mountain bike trails.

Situated centrally in beautiful Dumfries and Galloway, South West Scotland,
Farhills Farm Bed & Breakfast is one mile from the quaint village of Auchencairn and only 9 miles from the market town of Castle Douglas with a good choice of unique independant shops including 3 supermarkets, a bike shop and a selection of place to eat and drink.

There are 2 bedrooms available, both of which has been recently redecorated and furnished to a high standard.

Room 1 – named “Bengairn” after the beautiful hill which stands immediately before the bedroom window.  This is a double bedroom complete with pine furnishing.

Room 2 – “Farm view” bedroom overlooks our working farm. This first floor room is furnished with two single beds.  Beds can be put together to make a King size if required.

Both rooms are non-smoking and have tea and coffee making facilities.

Facilities:
  • Shared bathroom is furnished to a high standard with both bath and shower facilities.
  • Ample parking for vehicles and storage for bikes/sports equipment.
  • Laundry facilities and internet access available upon request.
  • Garden available for residents use.
  • Open from April to November.
Breakfast:
  • A traditional cooked Scottish or continental breakfast is included.
  • Special diets are catered for, please let us know when booking.
