Gorsebank Camping Cabins are located next to Dalbeattie 7 Stanes mountain bike trailhead - 300mtrs from your door and you are on the trails.

Situated on a small equestrian farm nestling between Dalbeattie forest and the River Urr estuary, our heated Camping Cabins (they look like big timber tents) provide an all year round comfortable alternative to camping.
We have 3 types of camping cabins to suit every need, from couples to large groups - all are heated and have lights and power points.
  • Wigwams - each of our 4 Wigwams sleep up to 5 and are equipped with fridge microwave & kettle
  • Pods - our 2 Family Camping Pods sleep up to 5 and are equipped with fridge, kettle, heater and lights
  • Timber Tents - we have 2 Timber Tents which are basic camping cabins which sleep 2-3

Gorsebank Camping Cabins are a great base for exploring Dumfries & Galloway, being centrally located to all the South West's mountain bike trails you are only a short distance to Kirroughtree (rated No.1 trail), Mabie, Ae, Drumlanrig & Glentrool.  Glentress is only 1.5 hours away.

Mountain Bike Friendly Site with - drying room, secure bike store, bike wash down area and trail guides. We also have onsite bike hire.

We are close to panoramic beaches, local towns, attractions and numerous places of interest.
Enjoy the freedom to wander around the farm trails, and woodlands, get involved feeding the animals. With our own access to Dalbeattie Forest explore the hundreds of miles of tracks on bike, foot or horseback.

Just bring your sleeping bag or duvet, towels and camp food - or enjoy the local take-aways, pubs and restaurants.

The picturesque coastal village of Kippford is only 2 miles away, with marina, pubs and a small café/shop.

For cyclists:
  • Dalbeattie 7 Stanes mountain bike trail only 300 mtrs, excellent for riders of all levels.
  • Centrally located for access to Mabie, Ae and Kirroughtree 7 Stanes trails.
