Hazelmount Cottage is a beautiful 3 bedroom cottage set within its own private secluded mature garden (ideal for children) with uninterrupted views of the Urr Estuary and the Solway Yacht Club that sleeps up to 7 people.

Hazelmount Cottage sits in the ancient smugglers village of Kippford amidst the beautiful Galloway countryside. The Victorians termed the Colvend Coastline to Kippford 'the Scottish Riviera' due to its natural beauty and mild Gulf Stream weather.

Situated 3 miles south of Dalbeattie on the shore of the Urr Estuary Kippford is surrounded by picturesque views and scenic beaches and is a nationally renowned sailing venue with many wonderful walks including Jubilee path to Rockcliffe and Rough Islands bird sanctuary.

Kippford has two pubs overlooking the estuary serving locally sourced food as well as several nearby towns, Dalbeattie, Castle Douglas and Kirkcudbright offer good restaurants and local shopping. Several golf courses and fishing available nearby. The local trailhead on the 7Stanes mountain bike network is within 2 miles of Kippford.
