Description
The 200yr old House o' Hill Hotel is situated in one of the most beautiful areas of southern Scotland. It is on the edge of the Galloway Forest Park and only 1.5 miles from the Glentrool 7stanes mountain bike trails and less than 20 minutes drive from Kirroughtree 7stanes trails and the market town of Newton Stewart.

Surrounded by breathtaking views and scenery it is an ideal base for mountain bikers, walkers, cyclists, fishing enthusiasts or anyone who just wants to 'get away from it all' and relax.

House o' Hill Hotel caters for overnight stays or longer breaks - take pleasure in the pleasant atmosphere and warm hospitality. Appreciate our delicious home cooked food, then sit and enjoy a drink by the fire or have a friendly game of pool or darts.

House o' Hill Hotel has two ensuite rooms which can be let as single, double or triple rooms. Each has a colour TV, tea and coffee making facilities and a hair dryer. Washing facilities are available on request and well behaved dogs are welcomed by prior arrangement.

If self catering is your preference, our recently renovated Curlywee Cottage is next door to, but not attached, to House o' Hill Hotel. It’s cosy ( that means small !) with 2 bedrooms sleeping up to 3 and all on one level. There’s a fully equipped kitchen, a dining/living room, a double bedroom, a single bedroom and good sized shower room.

All bedding, towels and tea towels will be supplied.

Curlywee Cottage has a TV and DVD player but there's no TV reception so it's just for playing DVDs.

Outside there is a small enclosed courtyard with a secure shed where bikes can be stored and an area where they can be hosed down. . Parking is directly in front of the building.
