Kailzie Bunkhouse offers 3 bunkrooms with 2 bunks in each (4 person rooms) all with either shower rooms or bathrooms en-suite.
There are also 2 dormitory style rooms with bunks and single beds sleeping 5 or 7 people, each also with a shower room.
There is a large communal kitchen and dining room with cookers, microwaves, fridges etc., and a cosy sitting room with television, DVD player and a wood-burning stove.
As you enter Kailzie Bunkhouse from the back there is a large shower room and loos where you can get rid of the grime of the day; then leave your wet clothes in the dehumidifying room next door to dry.
There is a secure shed with digit code for bikes, with an area to clean them down, and also to do any repairs that might be necessary. There is also an outdoor sitting area with a barbeque (depends on the weather!)
Kailzie Bunkhouse is also an ideal base from which family groups can explore the region and partake is some of the many other activities the Peebles area has to offer. Walking trails, fishing rivers abound but for those looking for less energetic pastimes, shopping, heritage and culture are in plentiful supply.
All sheets, duvets, pillows and towels etc. are provided.
The entrance to Kailzie Bunkhouse is opposite the entrance and car park of Cardrona Forest, and we are very close to both Glentress and Innerleithen 7stanes mountain bike trails.
