Kippford Holiday Park, one of the most beautiful holiday parks in Scotland, the holiday location for those who wish to avoid the "indoor attractions" of noisier resort locations. With all of Dumfries & Galloway - often described as ‘Scotland in Miniature'- for your playground and the Colvend Coast, known as ‘Scotland's Riviera' for its beautiful rocky headlands and sandy beaches as your neighbourhood; Kippford is regarded as being the loveliest seaside village in South West Scotland.

Dalbeattie Forest, one of the ‘7stanes' is accessed only 300 metres from Kippford Holiday Park entrance. In all there are over 17km of cycling trails linking Dalbeattie to Colvend, Sandyhills and Kippford; these three villages being just a short ride outside the Forest itself. Gentle Family Routes are suitable for the whole family, with clearly marked trails, leaflets are available at Reception. We will happily advise on alternative mountain biking and cycle venues, many only a few miles from the Park.

The ‘7stanes' are a group of 7 mountain bike venues especially developed for mountain biking in the area providing southern Scotland with arguably the most varied and finest biking in the world. One of our local routes has been named in ‘Mountain Bike Rider' as amongst the 10 best rides in the world! 17km of Dalbeattie Hard Rock trails including the famous ‘Slab' are amongst the finest anywhere, and only 5 minutes ride from the Park. We offer a washdown point and a small climbing ‘traverse' wall for those still with energy to spare!

khp-awards.jpgLodge, Caravan & Bungalow Rentals
Holiday Homes set amid wonderful landscaping and rock outcrops, mostly hidden from one-another. All our holiday homes have large verandahs with patio furniture and BBQ so you can enjoy our amazing views. Our Lodges, Gold & Silver Caravans and Bungalows are very nicely appointed. Double glazed and fully heated. Views extend up from the Estuary of the River Urr to 25 miles into the Galloway Hills.

Touring Park
35 Pitches for tourers and tents are set in small groups, naturally screened from one another by granite and gorse outcrops. Our toilet block is kept very clean and heated in colder weather. All pitches have electricity and most touring pitches have water, waste and hardstanding.
