Description
stb_4.gifMossyard, home of the McConchie Family for three generations, is a Scottish Tourist Board 4 Star Caravan and Camping Park situated on a working farm on the Scottish Coast.

Mossyard also boasts excellent self-catering cottages and chalets with every facility on site provided to make Mossyard an ideal base for riding the 7 Stanes mountain bike trails. Centrally located, Mossyard is only a short drive (800yards) off the region’s main road, the A75 which allows access to all 5 of Dumfries & Galloways’ 7 Stanes mountain bike trails. Mossyard commands magnificent views over Fleet Bay and the Murray Isles with the beautiful backdrop of the Galloway Hills. It's geographical location at the mouth of the Fleet estuary means swimming is possible at all stages of the tide. Of the three beaches at Mossyard, one shelves steeply and allows for boating, while the other two are shallower, allowing very safe bathing conditions. Fleet Bay has enjoyed a reputation for safe boating and watersports for many generations.

For things to do away from the 7 Stanes trails, Dumfries and Galloway has many attractions for visitors from the coastline to forest parks and hills. It's relaxed villages and bustling small towns offer shopping, fine eating places and a wide range of visitor attractions. Whether you are interested in mountain biking, other outdoor pursuits and activities or simply want to enjoy the peace and beauty of the countryside, Mossyard and the surrounding area has something for everyone.
