Winkston is a comfortable Georgian country house situated on our working farm, set in very pleasant gardens, overlooking the beautiful Borders countryside with views towards Peebles.
Tranquility, but just 5 minutes drive into Peebles, a bustling Borders town.
We are a long established family business and you can always be assured of a very warm welcome whether your stay is for one night, or longer. Many of our guests are regular visitors to WInkston Farmhouse.

We now have 2 4 star graded multi-purpose rooms - double, twin or family - with zip and links beds to suit your personal requirements.
The original byre of Winkston Farm has been carefully converted to a particularly high standard and quality to form two charming cottages.
Very special care has been taken to retain the original character of the whin-stone building, its natural wood interiors and pine floors with rugs.
Tasteful decoration and comfortable furnishings provide luxury accommodation for four people per cottage.
Downstairs there is an open plan lounge/dining and kitchen area. There is also a bedroom (now with zip and link beds so you can have 2 singles or a double), with toilet and shower room. From the lounge area a spiral staircase leads to a minstrel gallery and second sleeping area with twin beds.
