Park & Street
One of the newest disciplines, also known as “urban Mountain Biking”. Riders create lines and tricks using whatever they can in the Town & City. Stairways - blocks - banks - walls - are all obstacles that can be used in a multitude of ways. Purpose built Skate Parks are also a favourite spot for practicing your street riding and jumping skills. Bikes are usually Hard-tails with a chunky build, semi-slick tyres with tuff side walls and one brake to allow the bars to be spun round are also the order of the day. Bash rings to protect the chain & chain ring are also common place. |
