Description
Welcome to Powfoot Golf Hotel. We offer luxury en-suite accommodation, fine food and much more in the charming village of Powfoot near Annan in Dumfries and Galloway. The Hotel is centrally located to five of the 7stanes mountain bike trails and makes an excellent location from which to experience the thrills of the world’s best mountain biking. The quiet country roads surrounding the hotel are also ideal for more leisurely cycling.

The original house, which was built in the 19th century as a private residence, has been modernised to create a stylish and comfortable hotel. There are wonderful views stretching for miles over the Solway Firth toward the Lakeland hills. Most of the eighteen bedrooms overlook the sea or Powfoot Championship Golf Course.

Food is styled by our Head Chef, Andrew Kelso, and his team providing an ever-changing mix of traditional and modern using the best local suppliers for meat, game, fish and shellfish. Bar meals are available in the Bunker Bar and Conservatory whilst the Grill Room (opening Summer 2008) provides the opportunity to experience fine dining.

All of our bedrooms are located on the first floor with a mixture of the traditional features in the old house and more modern proportions and appointments in the new wing. All rooms offer en-suite bathrooms, direct-dial telephones, digital colour televisions, tea & coffee making facilities and ample space to make your stay comfortable. Most of the old house rooms look out over the sea whilst the new wing have the best views of Powfoot Championship Links.
