Family Friendly Bike Hire

Rik’s Bike Shed has a large fleet of hire bikes to suit all needs, whether you fancy a leisurely pedal with the whole family or a challenging single track experience on our red or black routes. Having young children ourselves means we understand the needs of families, and have lots of kiddy friendly kit to get the whole family out pedalling together comfortably, safely and enjoyably! Hire prices start from just £3 for a kids bike and £5 for an adult bike for an hour.

Rik also offers expert advice, guided rides with transport to/from accommodation in the area, and coaching. There is also a well-stocked shop and workshop and Cycle Museum chronicling the history of the bicycle beginning with a replica of Kirkpatrick Macmillan's original cycle, conceived here in this area, the home of the bicycle.
