Description

Rocky Knowe is a self catering holiday cottage near Dalbeattie, South West Scotland. A spacious modern bungalow in a secluded position amongst a small group of houses in a delightful rural setting with panoramic views from the garden, and rooms at the rear, of the Urr Estuary. Equipped to a high standard, the house provides an excellent base for a family holiday or group being within a short drive of the popular holiday and coastal villages of Rockcliffe and Kippford and the vast beach at Sandyhills.

The world class 7stanes trails of both Dalbeattie and Mabie are very close by, sailing and fishing are well catered for in the area and there are a number of golf courses all within easy driving distance. The closest town of Dalbeattie is just two miles away, Dumfries, the region's capital, with various shops, bars and restaurants is just fourteen miles. The Food Town of Castle Douglas and the Artists" Town of Kirkcudbright are also within a short distance.
