Rowanglen Cottage is superbly located for the world class 7stanes mountain bike trails at Dalbeattie and Mabie, enjoying country and coastal walks, sandy beaches, golf courses and road cycling. Converted from a traditional Galloway stone byre, the property has a secluded garden and enjoys a private aspect within a quiet village location.

The towns of Dalbeattie (4 miles) and Dumfries (8 miles) and Castle Douglas (10 miles) offer a good selection of everyday shopping as well as a variety of pubs and restaurants.

Rowanglen Cottage provides a lovely base from which to explore the scenic and historic Galloway countryside and coastline of the Solway Firth.

Galloway Forest Park, home of both the Kirroughtree and Glentrool 7stanes trails and recently designated Dark Skies Park status, is close by offering numerous outdoor activities. Alternatively relax and browse around pretty seaside villages such as Rockcliffe and Kippford.

Rowanglen Cottage makes an ideal location for both families and couples at any time of year.
