Sorbietrees, a large stone farmhouse - originally boasted an estate of approx. 4000 acres but now stands in just 22 acres, near Newcastleton in the Liddesdale Valley, with spectacular views of the surrounding countryside, spacious comfortable bedrooms, log fires, a generous choice of breakfasts and a great starting or stop off point if you are on a walking or cycling holiday, or just want to relax.

qac.gifSorbietrees is an ideal base for all types of cycling activity. Why not try out the nearby 7 Stanes Mountain Biking trails or Cycle Route 10 of the Reivers Cycle Trail? We also offer for our guest’s convenience lockable storage facilities for bikes and equipment along with a bike wash and drying room.

The village of Newcastleton, only 2.5 miles away, is a thriving community with several lively public houses that offer excellent evening meals, two coffee shops, a bank, post office, small supermarket, newsagents, hardware shop, garage, antique shop and Heritage Centre.
