Description
Templand Cottages are near the River Nith with spectacular views down the Nith Valley only 5 miles from the trails at Drumlanrig and 9 miles from the 7stanes trials at Ae Forest (now with Bike Shop and Café facilities) and only half a mile from the village of Thornhill, with shops, hotels and restaurants.

The 6 self-catering cottages can comfortably accommodate 22 people and  have been tastefully converted from the original 18th century sandstone farm buildings of Templand. You can enjoy our heated indoor pool & sauna housed inside a cosy log cabin to ease those aching limbs or choose to relax on your cottage patio(with BBQ) to chat about the day’s events.

A major attraction of Templand Cottages is the indoor swimming pool and sauna, games room (pool table and table-tennis) and a safe children’s play area. There are bicycles to borrow free of charge and also a free video library of over 200 films. There is so much to do here and with such a peaceful, and beautiful setting, you may not want to leave.
