Castle Creavie is named after the two Iron Age forts and is situated 4 miles from the popular harbour town of Kirkcudbright which has a good range of shops, pubs, cafes and restaurants. Although in a very rural location Castle Creavie is surprisingly central to all of the Dumfries and Galloway mountain bike trails.
The Hayloft at Castle Creavie has recently been converted to a comfortable, family and mountain biker friendly, bunkhouse style camping barn.
The ground floor has utility sinks, small area for kettle and microwave, shower room and toilet.
Upstairs is the carpeted loft with 4 single beds and balcony doors opening to spectacular unspoiled views of the Galloway countryside.
Bike wash facilities and secure bike and equipment storage provided.
The Hayloft at Castle Creavie offers ideal quality, budget accommodation for families or groups at only £12.00 pppn. Bring your own sleeping bag, or hire the bed-linen/duvets at £3.00 pp per stay.
Full cooked breakfasts can be provided with prior notice at extra cost of £5.00 pp. Dogs are always welcome at Castle Creavie but we do make a small charge of £10 per stay (only one dog allowed in the Hayloft).
